I'm sure that many of you know that Dave loves to fly. He doesn't necessarily like going to the airport and waiting for delayed flights or the lack of leg and hip room that has become the norm, but once he is in the air, he is in heaven. He has had a fascination with flying since he was a little boy and Becca decided to finally let him begin to live one of his dreams. For his 30th birthday in May, Becca got Dave an introductory flight lesson flying from Grand Junction to Moab and back. On November 10th, he finally cashed in.
Needless to say, Dave loved it!!! He was stoked that the instructor allowed him to do so much on his own and surprised that he really only needed help with the final piece of both landings.
Genevieve wasn't really impressed with the whole flying thing, but she had a great time playing with rocks while daddy was in the air.

seriously, waht is it about kids and rocks...especially the little ones? jack goes crazy for them as well and collin will if you let them. i think b/c they are just the right size to fit in their little hands and they are great to throw. sigh...the little joys of childhood!
