Yes, we are way behind on our blog again....here is an attempt to get caught up!
If only EVERYDAY could be Christmas! This was the first year that Genevieve really understood and remembered what happens on Christmas day. Some of that is good and some bad. I really liked that last year her full comprehension of Christmas was that it was Jesus's birthday and we spent it helping others and with family to show our love to Him. Well, she knew about Santa this year and had a hard time focusing on much else. She still remembered that it was Jesus's birthday and enjoyed helping others and the festivities that lead up to Christmas day. But, it's hard to beat the surprise of Santa on Christmas morning! It was fun to enjoy the excitement with her!
Christmas Eve was spent with our good friends the Mouritson's. We had some great food, decorated a ginger bread house, went on a hay ride (freezing), visited with Santa before his big trip and of course acted out the nativity.
We were able to open up one gift on Christmas Eve and coincidentally it was matching PJs that we could all wear that night.
Can you say spoiled? Each year we tell ourselves that we won't do as much for Christmas next year, but never seem to remember once the Christmas season comes around.
The day after Christmas was Dave's dad's 70th birthday. To celebrate the occasion, we hopped on a plane on Christmas afternoon and flew out to celebrate with most of Dave's family. It was great to see the family and celebrate the growing legacy of such a great man.

Helping Dad set up his new SkyCaddie GPS unit. This was Dave's secret plot to make sure that he and his dad get to golf together a little bit more in the next year.

New Year's in Park City
Once the festivities in Wyoming were done, we headed down to meet up with Becca's family in Park City for a week of playing and skiing. We love the annual tradition and are grateful to Becca's parents for making it possible each year.
Genevieve, definitely, enjoyed the brunch at the Grand America hotel. A child's height table with all sorts of favorite kid foods, fruit smoothies, and a chocolate fondue fontain (as visible below around her mouth). It was yummy way to top off the holidays!

Fun pictures!!! Don't you just love having to catch up on blogging. I am so bad at it anymore. I have to do my catch-up in two parts... and I still need to do part two, which incudes that we had another baby... over two months ago:)
And Happy Birthday to Keith! He's a great guy!
