Genevieve's Ballet Recital

One of the things that Genevieve looked forward to the most about turning three and being a "big girl" was the opportunity to take ballet lessons. So in January, we signed her up! She loved the leotards, tutus, music and dancing, - and we loved watching her! Of course, the best part of all was the final recital.

Genevieve's class was the baby animals group, dressed as bunnies, chicks and kittens. Of course I am biased, but I thought they were adorable. They each performed their dance with enthusiasm and darling 3-year old charisma, and none of them ran off the stage, cried, or froze in front of the audience. That is pretty impressive! Genevieve was excited to be allowed to wear make-up and dress up in her costume. We were BIG fans of our little ballerina!
Flowers for our star!
Taking a rest after the show, outside of the auditorium.
Acting silly at our post-show lunch celebration at Red Robin.
Thanks for being the star of our show, Genevieve! We love you and are so proud of you!!!

She so reminds me of you! Love that she has so few inhibitions. And of course she makes a cute bunny too!
